Doug is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional with Family Wealth Management, Inc. and has more than 22 years of professional experience. Doug provides comprehensive financial planning and investment management services to a broad range of clients.

Prior to joining Family Wealth Management, Doug was the founder and principal of High Ridge Financial Planning based in Northampton, MA. Doug also served as a director of SRI World Group, Inc. a financial information services firm which provides investing information and services to individual investors, institutional investors and corporations. Previously Doug was a marketing manager for UTC Fuel Cells, a division of United Technologies. He has been quoted in many national publications including the Wall Street Journal, New York Times, and the Christian Science Monitor. Doug is also a member of the National Association of Personal Financial Advisors (NAPFA).

Doug received his BA in Economics from Hobart College and his MBA at the Yale School of Management. He also earned a Masters degree in Environmental Management at the Yale School of Forestry and Environmental Studies. Doug has completed the Boston University’s program for professional financial planners.

Doug is a member of the Board of the Hampshire County United Way, and the Board of the Pascommuck Conservation Trust. He is also a volunteer soccer coach. He lives in Florence with his wife Amy and two young sons, Zachary and Davis. When he can find the time, Doug enjoys biking, hiking, camping, and gardening.
